Ronnie Fieg has done it again. Owner of all things KITH, he has collaborated with old school breakfast cereal Cap’n Crunch, and put out Cap’n Kith Pop-Up shop in SoHo. Cool, unique, and a little bit ridiculous – Mr. Fieg has just brought out everyone’s inner child. The store it self looks a little bit like the inside of a boat to mimic the fact that we’re all on Cap’n Crunch’s boat, and it’s all adorned in three colors: Navy Blue, Yellow, and White. Almost all the collector’s items are sold out now (sorry he only made 144 of each), but you can stop by and pick up one of the Cap’n Crunch Cereal Box Creations or have that blended and given to you as a Milkshake! Is it too expensive? Yes. Would I go here for breakfast everyday? No. But should you experience it at least once and take home the cool, branded glass milk bottle? Oh heck yeah. Go once and experience what it’s like to eat all the cereal you want without your parent yelling at you that it has too much sugar. This spot is gone in a month anyway, and I would highly suggest it for the experience before it’s gone and you’re sad that you missed out.
If you don’t get all the hype, then there’s always the new Kith Treats a couple blocks down on 644 Broadway or the original in Flatbush.
Cap’n Kith Cereal Box – regular Cap’n Crunch + chocolate Cap’n Crunch + marshmallows = awesome. Sweet and a perfect morning indulgence.
Cap’n Kith Milkshake – I thought this was really good and actually enjoyed this better than the cereal box, but it wasn’t “gram worthy” – so you’re decision on what you care about more 😉
That’s all for now. GO before this closes on November 8!
